From Banker to Singer/Songwriter and like the title of his song, Jeff Leach aka “STORK” is “Living the Dream”

Jeff “STORK “Leach is a true Master of Change. He spent 32 years in a bank, harbouring a secret desire to become a musician.

He started with a few guitar lessons and then began to play guitar as much as he could, throwing all his energy into his passion that he was hoping would one day become his life. He would watch live music like it was an obsession, becoming familiar in those surroundings and gaining an understanding of how musicians perform and live.

We talk about how he finally made the leap of faith and left the bank. He now leads a simple life, but miles away from the pressure and routine of 9 to 5 work and lives a lifestyle where “music feeds his soul”.

We talk about how his Dad left him at age 9, he was lost, but found a way to move forward on his own, but with the help of his great Mum, who never looked for another partner for the rest of her life.

His participation in a male weekend workshop where he had to take a good look at his inner self, led him to eventually reconnect with his father after many many years. He put his hand on his Dads heart and told him “I forgive you”.

He talked about one of his latest songs “Living the Dream” and gets the mic and guitar fired up and sings us this tune.

He loves Dylan, Cohen , Cash and many other great singer songwriters that inspire his writing and guitar playing.

Hes politically incorrect, incredibly passionate and talented, with a true wit and natural gift for writing quirky and meaningful lines.

This is STORK, a true character, raw and unplugged.

Most inspirational. I used to work for a bank. Good income but not what I wanted to do. Even taking longer into my senior years before finding direction is better late than never. Art makes me happy.
