WORLD RECORD Planking – Daniel Scali

From the moment Daniel saw the planking world record on his snapchat feed, something ignited a fierce determination within to inspire him to dedicate his days to breaking this amazing record.

He found an amazing mindcoach, Michael Sorgiovanni of “Living your Power Now”, and got to work setting up his morning , lunch and afterwork routine to prepare his body, and most importantly his mind, for this almost insurmountable challenge.

He talks about the belief required, and the determination being far more important than the motivation and insists that such a feat is 80% mental and only 20% physical.

“Dont let pain determine the person you are or want to be, let it be fuel to the person you know you can be”

His world record time of 9hours 9 minutes and 9 seconds was almost an hour more than the previous record. We talk about all his training methods and incredibly, after the podcast, he helps me to almost double my own planking record. My reaction is recorded after the podcast and Ive included it in the show. I was blown away, a life changing, penny dropping moment for your podcast host.

Daniels amazing feat was also achieved even though he suffers from CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), a condition created from a fall from the trampoline at age 12. I encourage you reach out to him on facebook and perhaps support this charity.

“Youve got to get it done, and you will never be given a dream more bigger than you can handle”…………Daniel Scali

Quite inspiring Pete. You know when I used to do step into life I was the best planker. I don’t remember how long but wouldn’t have been. 6 minutes even. Mum
